Maintenance Tips
We recommend having your transmission serviced every 15,000 miles. Transmission fluid has a viscosity, just like oil does. When this breaks down, the transmission heats up, burns the fluid and slippage and wear occur. Eventually this will become a major problem.
When it comes down to getting from here to there, new transmission fluid and a clean filter are just as important as changing motor oil and filter every 3,000 miles (which we also recommend). Servicing your transmission doesn't repair problems, it prevents them.
